Witnessing/ Community Report: Report on 100-day 100-hdh condition and 100-day Blessing Campaign in Bridgeport

Over a 100-day period, from May 12- Aug. 19th, around 20 members of the Family Church of CT took part in a Community-wide 100-day 100-hdh condition, reading the 1-hour Divine Principle Lecture Manual 100 times. 

During the condition, about a dozen members met regularly on Saturday mornings from 8AM on the University of Bridgeport campus to read the Divine Principle together and engage in meaningful discussion. Also during this time, there was also a boom in blessing activity and giving of the holy wine. We held two community Blessings during this time as well. In total, over 120 couples were Blessed during this time. 

On this foundation, at the request and inspiration of a few of our members, Pastors Abe and Mika decided to commit to a second 100-day community condition, this time as a Blessing condition to Bless 430 couples. On Saturday, Sept 1st a Tribal Messiah potluck dinner was held to kickoff this new condition. Around 20 members gathered for this event. The event featured Eva Mackin, who shared her testimony of having recently completed her 430 Heavenly Tribal Messiahship during the month of July while in Thailand. Thailand is also her original mission country to which she was first sent by our True Parents in 1975. The dinner was also a chance to discuss about our strategy for not only blessing couples but educating them as well. We have initiated a pilot program to invite previously Blessed couples to as well as prospective ones as a way of sharing the culture of our Marriage Blessings so it becomes more substantial what these couples have committed to.
