Jan 5, 2019 prayer breakfast in Bridgeport, CT

We met with some of our core ministers and started with prayer and breakfast. This was followed by a review of the activities of 2018. Then Apostle Glenda Phillips-Lee Yuk gave a shortened presentation of True Family Values, quite skillfully. You could tell she has a lot of experience with the material. Comments from everyone was positive and general attitude of expecting many ministers would find the material helpful.

    During the discussion Bishop Skyers emphasized that ACLC must show the clergy what benefit it can bring to them. What can we do to help with their ministry? Others encouraged us to allow the clergy to have more ownership of the local effort. Another suggestion was to talk from the trifold brochure, that in showing that you can give a good overview of ACLC’s work.

    All in all it was a good, frank meeting with a determination to do more in 2019.

    Our plan is to hold True Family Values Seminar on Saturday, January 26.
