Marriage Blessing at Sonobana Restaurant

Hamden, CT

April 6, 2019

Mr. Seikichi Muto is the owner and operator of Sonobana Restaurant where we held the Blessing Ceremony on April 6, 2019. It is the second time in last 9 months we have held ceremony in his restaurant. Here are his reflections on the event.

Just a month ago, we received an email from Pastor Mika, requesting we have a Blessing Ceremony in our community at same time as True Mother’s Rally in Los Angeles. At that time, I was very busy and tired because I was preparing to attend business meeting and 7-days Divine Principle conference at IPEC. I said that I would be happy to have a Blessing Ceremony at Sonobana, because True Mother said we only one year left till 2020. After I came back from IPEC we only had 17 days before the event. But fortunately, my wife and other sisters started going door to door blessing and inviting people, and the weather finally got warmer. That was a great support for me. Of course, many tribal messiah members supported as well. Event was small but was very meaningful. When I heard about the big success of True Mother’s event, I was very happy. One more great news is newly elected governor in Hokkaido has come to be very close to our movement and when he visited our building, they could celebrate his birthday. He is young, 38, and supports our motto “World Peace Though Ideal Families.“ Hokkaido is my home town.

The restaurant was nicely decorated, and preparations made for the Blessing Ceremony.
