On the 4th of November, Slam Jam participated in the annual Halloween party at Belvedere. It was organized by the Belvedere youth group. Besides the Bridgeport youth group, New Jersey, New York and a Christian youth group also participated in this Halloween party.

Slam Jam arrived right before sunset, and they had the time to greet and catch up with their brothers and sisters just before dinner and activities officially started.

This year there was Haunted House, Haunted Trail, Spooky Mafia and Haunted Hayride. These activities received very good feedback, participants expressed that they wished they could have spent more time participating in the activities. Besides the scary activities, there were competitions for the best Halloween costumes. We are proud to announce that both individual and group competition winners were from Slam Jam!

During activities, dinner was served buffet style in the room. The food was made by our dear older brother and chef Michael Diamond. There were homemade tacos with shrimp, chicken, pork, guac etc. People felt the love and effort behind the food.

Overall it was a fun and relaxing way to spend the Saturday night. It was also a great way to connect to other youth groups.
