Young Blessed Couples Board Game Nigh
Last Saturday, in an event hosted by the CT Blessed Family Ministry (BFM), young Blessed Families of our Connecticut community gathered together for an entertaining evening of board games and socializing.
The event was the latest in a continuing series of "Young Blessed Couples Nights" organized by the BFM to provide support for, and to strengthen the faith and relationships among, the young Blessed Couples in our community. The event took place at the "brown house," the beautiful and spacious home of Mr. and Mrs. Yasutake. The high ceilings, ornately decorative wood moldings, and multiple photos of True Parents that adorned the brown house provided a majestic and holy atmosphere.
The young Blessed Couples brought their incredible energy and beautiful spirit to the event as they enthusiastically competed, strategized, and worked together in teams to gain victory and win various prizes. The board games, which included such amusing titles as "Two Rooms and a Boom," "Dixit," "Codenames," and "Catchphrase," were energetically led by the wonderful team of Matthew Breland and the Yasutake brothers: Christoph, Toby, and Peter. The younger children, some of whom also participated in the board games, were cared for in the neighboring room where they enjoyed movies, toys, and video games. Dinner included delicious pizza catered by nearby Jenna's Brick Oven Pizza. Throughout the evening the brown house bustled with the warmth, liveliness, and vitality of our remarkable young people, as they closely bonded with each other, strengthening existing relationships, and forming new relationships with each other.
